"Euchre," my ten year old Border Collie, has always been a picky eater, and would much rather play than eat her dinner. I purchased one of those ball-type toys that makes grunting noises and put her food in it. It worked...until she busted it into pieces in a matter of a week. It was difficult to load and quite frankly, the grunting sound got on my nerves, not to mention the fact that you couldn't tell how much food was left in it.
Then I tried the Busy Dog Ball because of its clear design and warranty claim. Not only can I see what's inside of it, it's easier to load and the only noise is the sound of whatever is inside rolling around. The best part is that it kept this very busy Border Collie amused for THREE SOLID HOURS! Never have I seen a toy take so much abuse and still remain intact. I was amazed!
But that's not the best part of owning this amazing toy. "Euchre" is afraid of thunderstorms and just can't settle down. She pants and paces and no amount of training has been able to calm her down...until the arrival of the Busy Dog Ball. I filled the ball with dog biscuits and it kept "Euchre" preoccupied the entire duration of the thunderstorm! What a relief for both of us.
Thanks for an awesome product. You people are geniuses.
Sincerely,
Bob Tatus and "Euchre" |

1) To Whom it may Concern: Our 7 year old beagle, Freckles, absolutely loves the Busy Dog Ball. No matter what type of treat we put in the ball, she will continue to play with it until all the treats are gone. She even prefers the Ball to her former all-time favorite, Rawhide Chews. If Freckles is in a really playful mood, she will "kick" and/or "throw" the ball at us to put treats in it. Considering that Freckles is an inside dog, this ball provides her with some much needed exercise with instant reward. We would recommend this product to all dog owners. It actually lives up to its name and keeps the dog busy. Thank you for coming out with such product. Sincerely, Kevin M. Pierce Janet C. Pierce

2) January 29, 1999 Dear Stelaur Products, LLC: We have an active Golden Retriever and while looking around for toys to keep her busy, we came across the large Busy Dog Ball. We liked the concept of the dog being rewarded after the exercise of chasing a ball that dropped dog treats. Because our dog is five and was used to chasing tennis balls, it only took a short time to teach her to bat the ball around. The ball keeps the dog busy when we are out in the yard working and she is free to run in the yard. You have a nice product. Sincerely, Joyce Wenzel

3) To Dave Brown: I want to let you know how much my dog enjoys the "Busy Dog Ball". Sometimes at 3 or 4 in the morning, I can hear him pushing the ball over the house to get his bones out. He plays with that ball all the time. I enjoy watching him myself. You sure had a wonderful idea. Thank you, Doris Caine

4) Dear Busy Dog Ball! I just have to say that I took the busy dog ball challenge because I said to myself that "my dog will definitely chew this thing up and have it broken in pieces in a matter of hours(like all the other play toys I bring home to her)!" I always love a challenge! Well, I must say that I was completely WRONG! My dog LOVES this ball! She plays with it every day and loves the rewards she gets for playing with it! It is so durable that even my dog cant break it or chew it up! I have a dalmation 1year old and she is quite playful and rambunctious and even she can't demolish it!!!!! She gets all excited when I tell her"Lets go get your busy ball". She knows exactly what we are about to do! It is a great thing to have when I have to do housework or something and I just cant play with her...she can just play by herself until I am done with my work! What a great product to have if you love your dog! We tried another product like this one that was made of hard rubber...and Daisy chewed it up within hours! But not this one! The busy dog ball is the best!!! I have recommended it to all my dog owner friends! Sincerely, Judy Campbell & Daisy!

5) Dear Stelaur Products: I just wanted to write to you to let you know that everything you said wouldn't happen to the ball - didn't happen to the ball! Buster Brown is our 18 month old bassett hound weighing in at 70 lbs. who lives to destroy his toys. We have even bought "kongs" and he has been able to chew through them too! You promised that he wouldn't be able to do it to your ball and you were right. We have 3 other dogs in our house too, another bassett hound, miniature pincher and dachshund. Ofcourse, Buster doesn't allow anyone else play with the ball - when it has cookies in it! I'm going to have to invest in 3 more balls so that everyone gets their fair share. You obviously know your product well and I will definitely pass the name and number of your company to my family and friends. We are all dog lovers in our family. Thank you very much for the great product! Very Truly Yours, Mark & Stacie Fluckiger, Coventry, CT
